Since 2019, Dr. X has mentored 40 trainees across multiple disciplines and training levels. Our alumni reflect X-Lab's commitment to interdisciplinary mentoring and training the next generation of researchers and clinicians.
X-Lab has hosted trainees for research rotations and independent practicums spanning nursing, statistics, biostatistics, neuroscience, biology, computer science, mathematics and interdisciplinary studies.
X-Lab alumni have gone on to doctoral programs (UCLA), Masters programs (Duke University), postdoctoral research positions (Columbia University), data science roles in diverse industry settings (Lenovo, Boehringer Ingelheim, Novartis), nursing faculty and clinical practice positions, research coordination roles (UNC Chapel Hill), medical school (SUNY Upstate), and undergraduate programs at institutions including Harvard, UNC Chapel Hill, and UNC Charlotte.
